Here We Go Again…#Weightloss

It’s time for me to punch through this; I’ve taken a little break from weight loss which didn’t kill me. I’m actually really proud of myself that I didn’t gain my weight back. The smallest I was down was 364 lbs, and right now I’m weighing in at 373 which mean I only gained 9 lbs in my 6 month break. That is great!

I’ve recently teamed up with a couple girls over at nostringsattached-enews, magazine to start a little weight loss challenge, where we are all working together and sharing our story. My story will be up in a few weeks, but I wanted to start sharing my struggles right now and tell you all about my plan.no-excuses-november-michelles-weightloss-post

I’ve been working on this for about a month now, it’s been harder than usual. I have to figure out how to eat healthier, and much less than what I am eating now. Here are a couple photos I have from the first week that went fairly well. Weeks 2 and 3 have been much harder; I had a gain last week.

Preparing some dinner and lunch for a few days wasn’t as hard as I thought; I made some turkey meatballs with Veggies and Mushrooms. I used just a little bit of oil in everything, but when I covered the meatballs they had some veggies in them so they made a juice in the pan which turned out great. They weren’t dry or anything!

I’ve also been loving this Vishape Protein powder, I just get mine on Amazon… but this is one of the tastiest powders ever, and I just throw it in some milk. I’ve heard you can mix this with so much other stuff to make it thicker, I haven’t tried that yet, but this is a lifelong journey for me so I have all the time in the world for that.

I also started to eat breakfast and lunch, instead of living on coffee all day long. Don’t get me wrong I still have a cup of Joe every day, but eating is key… I hope I can work on getting back to the gym next week.

I made some eggs with Veggies and some low carb tortillas that are “heart healthy.” I of course had some cheese in there as well, because I can’t cut out cheese yet, don’t make me do that! I’ll attach some of the info on the wraps, I got mine at Walmart!

The brand is called Xtreme by Ole Mexican food. They are high in fiber, and only 50 cals for a wrap which is great! Anyway, see you guys next Wednesday for my new series Weight Loss Wednesday! xoxo
